The Babylone is a roomy monogram tote with slim shoulder straps and an open top with a clasp. Think of it as the everyday workhorse of the 90s lineup: laptop-friendly by modern standards, understated, and usually one of the most affordable full-size vintage LV totes you can find. Check the strap edges and the vachetta trim carefully — that is where these show their age.
The Musette
The Musette family — including the Musette Salsa and Musette Tango — is a line of flap-front messenger and shoulder bags. The Salsa comes in short and long strap versions; the Tango is a compact evening-friendly piece. The flap protects the interior, so Musettes often survive in lovely condition. For a hands-free, crossbody-adjacent vintage bag, they are hard to beat.
